Shaper Origin lands in the WoodWRX workshop and has opened up a number of options for our customers. Shaper Origin is the worlds only hand held CNC router that in the right hands is able to produce personalised, signs, plaques, complex joinery and a whole range of items. Process (in more detail)
In order to turn your vision into a reality we first need to start at the computer with the adaption/creation of the artwork required by the CNC router. More often than not you will have a logo or some kind of file already but fear not if this isn’t the case.
The final file required by the machine is called an SVG (Scaleable Vector Graphic). This essentially means the graphics on the file and calculation based so therefor scalable without loss of quality. If you have this type of file already (or potentially a .eps or .ai file) then it may take minimal work to prep the artwork. However if your file is .jpg, .png, .gif or similar then we would need to create the artwork at further cost (don’t worry it won’t break the bank). The benefit is that we supply you the file at the end of your project so you can use elsewhere in future. Cool huh!
