I set up WoodWRX this year (2022) with the sole intention of offering affordable custom and bespoke solutions of the highest quality to the industry I love dearly! The music industry, with DJs and producers at the fore.
Custom DJ booths and instals as well as personalised DJ ident plaques and accessories. With over three decades of experience in DJing and producing with an unhealthy passion for equipment places me well to be able to solve numerous issues faced by the industry.

Record boxes – function and form!
A range of record boxes for 7″ and 12″ (and 10″ if you need them!) Many materials available although we tend to build the in beautiful and super strong birch plywood for longevity! All boxes come ready built using bevelled edges and mortice and tenon domino joinery.
Newly added we have the option of having custom engraving or your favourite band added as a one-off design feature. We’d love to discuss your ideas.
In 2016 my best friend and I had a discussion. He worked for a high-end joinery and fit out firm and I had a dream of an ultimate modular DJ desk born out of decades of need, trial and error. Russell didn’t let the grass grow and before you could say Carl Cox spins a mighty tune or two the first prototype was a reality.
Due to work commitments I wasn’t able to continue past the first year of idokodo, but Russ continued on refining and developing materials and ideas. The latest itteration of the Chameleon desk is a joy to behold and the airflow, adjustment plinths, new composite materials , cable management and a host of acclaimed accessories have elevated idokodo to the top of the tree for DJ desks internationally.

We present Criztoz with the 45 day plaque
We were proud to present Criztoz with this custom ID plaque. Criztoz (head of live streams for the fabulous Forty Five Kings Collective) created the 45 Day movement which has really captured the imagination and in 3 years has amassed over 300 mixes from over 200 DJs from the 45 kings, 45 queens and 45 kids”.
I personally wanted to give something back to Criztoz who has also done a huge amount during a very difficult time for everyone bringing the often slightly taboo subject of mental health. I’m sure you all echo our sentiments here at WoodWRX when we say a thank you to Criztoz for his contribution to the scene.
